The Award


Best Brands are the brands that achieve a strong market position and build a strong emotional bond with consumers. Thanks to careful market monitoring and an innovative approach they have proved that it is possible to be successful even in difficult times. It is these brands that are awarded the title of the Best at the Best Brands Awards, held for the second time in Poland.

Honoring and promoting effective brand management, sharing business experiences as well as inspiring keynote speakers are undoubtedly a great asset of this prestigious gala. Following the example of other European countries, Polish edition will also permanently enter the calendar of the most important events of the marketing industry.

What distinguishes the Best Brands Awards is that the winners are not chosen by the jury, but exclusively by consumers – the awarded candidates are selected in a comprehensive study conducted by GfK Polonia, an independent consumer research institute, based on two key indicators:

  • “Share of Wallet”, i.e. brand’s actual market success, and
  • “Share of Soul”, i.e. its attractiveness to the consumers.


Best Brands is currently the only ranking that measures brand strength based exclusively on those two aspects.

The Best Brands Awards Gala is organised and hosted by Group One: the largest independent communications group in Poland, and GfK: the content partner and one of the global leaders in the field of data analytics.

The Best Brands in Poland winners were selected in six categories: Best Brand: Overall, Polish Brand, Omnichannel Brand, Sustainable and Best Life Changing Technology Brand (NEW!), Best Brand For Tough Times (NEW!). The ranking categories reflect current trends in the market, as well as areas of interest to consumers in the country. They are unique to each edition of the ranking.
